Here is the story; 7.25.09 We (driver and navigator) were racing in the 150 mile OutLaw desert here in New Mexico.
We were on lap three in third place doing 50M.P.H. over ruff terrain when another vehicle, lost in our dust cloud, rear ended us. Instantly we did two end over end flips followed by three side rolls.
I messed up my full face helmet, got a black eye from head trauma, no blows to the face.
I have been in many wrecks over the years but this one was the most violent, for the first time in my 45 years I had the "so this is how you are going to die" thought.
I had serious injuries. Whole body bruised up, neck did not move for almost one month. The CT scan reveled blood behind my right eye/ torn sinus cavity. The head injury was scary! If I coughed or sneezed I had a popping behind my right eye with a horrible pain, it felt as if my eye would come out.
My navigator was bruised up and sore for a few weeks but fine.
The stock rolled cage is fantastic, absorbed tons of shock, protected the riders and saved the frame of the RZR.
My first recommendation for RZR riders is Dragon Fire belts they truly saved our lives.
Today "praise God" both rider and the RZR are almost 100%!!
As far as the RZR S an amazing machine. After almost $5000.00 out of my pocket (insurance does not cover race related damage) and many hours of my time it is 99.5% back to new, a few scratches.
Here is the broken parts list;
Full cage, 4 ball joints, 2 cab side bars, 2 fox shock spring retainers, 2 fox shock eyelets, both front upper a arms, passenger side front axle, 4 new tires(blew out two), one new rim(broken), front end plastic, radiator mount, radiator hoses, radiator fill neck, 6 HID lights, front pre runner push guard, new stereo, steering wheel, two front hubs, Bimini top, lock and ride light bar, rear end plastic, new tail light, rear whole plastic cargo deck, CV boot, and more Im sure I left out.
As you might guess I learned a lot that day. I have minor brain damage but that has been there since my teenage years, Life is good!
I have a RZR and 4 other ATVs and 2 trailers, so I need good strapsall of mine are cheap imported junkso how are yours?better?same?
I brought the shoulder harness system from you for my RZR, and they are greatnot just great but really great!
I will buy your straps if they are the bestout there!
Thank You Paul for the outstanding customer service !
I really appreciate you letting me do the exchange, I know you didn't have to, and that was above and beyond Customer support. I installed the Ranger doors Friday evening, they fit perfectly , and look great !!!
PS... I hadn't told the wife about not really being able to use the grill (I didnt want to hurt her feelings) But after installing the doors, I told her that I had exchanged the grill for the doors and she liked the doors better herself too, so it all worked out great!
You guys run a first class Business !!!
Another happy DragonFire Racing Customer...
Just wanted to say thanks again for the awesome Rhino you put together for us We took it out this weekend and had a great time running around in the desert. We were all amazed at how smooth it rides over the bumps and all the things that you pick your way over on a quad and just blow right past on the Rhino.
We hooked up the iPod and blasted classic rock all over the desert. Were going out again this weekend to continue the break-in period before our first trip to the Dunes on the 14th.
Thought youd enjoy the pics the first one taken before we started getting dirty and the second one that shows Ogilby in his Doggles all strapped in for the trip.
Thanks again for putting together such a great vehicle for us!
Received the replacement soft top for my Rhino cage today. The new top fit
absolutely perfect! snapped and velcroed right on with no problems. I just
wanted to thank you for your excellent customer service.
I will definitely be using dragonfire racing in the future to customize my

"Hey Todd I've never got back to you about how great this 6+ long travel is for my RZR. Not only can I smoke any other UTV in any dunes with the clutch kit and fuel controller, the soft landings make all the difference. I've been on average catching 12 feet to 15 feet of height and at least 35 feet of distance in the dunes. Every person that has watched me operate my RZR thinks I'm crazy, but I tell every one that looks or asks about my cart Dragonfire racing out of Mesa, AZ is the reason my Polaris does so great. At home all I have to practice on is a small track on my 160 acres but I have made a few 6 foot tall ramps with my dozer that are working out great. We are working on video now that I got a camera but are sending you a few pictures from Glamis, it was a 14 hour drive for me but very worth it! Construction work has been slow for me so that turbo system will have to wait a little longer but I still hit Sand Mountain, NV every month and we are headed to Coos Bay Oregon in July, I hope business picks up by then and I can put that turbo on. Have a great day I'll get some real crazy video and pics to you soon.
Thanks for all your support,
I wanted to get more out of my 2010 teryx after installing my +6 long travel kit I purchased at Dragonfire Racing, so I contacted Brice at Dragonfire to see what they might have to increase the performance and something I could do myself. Brice recommended the New yoshimura dual exhaust system. It only took about an hour to install, quality is second to none, and it looks great! When I started up my teryx I knew right then I was on to something good. The system provided a really nice deep throaty sound, but not too loud like some of the other options out there. It made a huge difference in low all the through upper midrange. A noticeable difference from zero to 45 MPH more torque, more responsive! Thanks to Brice and Dragonfire Racing for a solid recommendation!
