Diving Into A New Season Of Destination Polaris

Things are really heating up around DragonFire's lair, but that didn't stop us from jumping into a cool new project for season #5 of the popular Destination Polaris TV show. Now reaching more than 80 million homes on Fox Sports Net, it is quite an honor for DragonFire to be the only builder picked to do a "Project X" build for four consecutive seasons. So what will we be splashing down with this season? Tune in on June 22nd or stay tuned to this blog for some more clues.

First hint, it is unlike anything we have ever done! Three years ago, we built our race-ready RZR XP 900 to highlight the RacePace line of modular components. The following season we took an XP 4 and tricked it out with our trail capable RockSolid range of adventure touring accessories, including a full SafariRack. Last year our ReadyForce accessory line was highlighted on a rugged Ranger build. The question was what do we do for an encore?

As great as all three previous builds turned out, we couldn't make up our minds which direction to go this season. Our engineering guys wanted to go in one direction, while the sales & marketing team had something entirely different in mind. Talk about split personalities! It finally came down to flipping a coin to see which side would win. With TV host Jared Christie and the Destination Polaris crew set to arrive at DragonFire, the engineering and marketing teams were still at odds right up until the cameras started rolling.

We finally dove into Project X4 with both feet! Check out the attached image for the second hint at what we decided to build this season. While it is a little tough to make out the details, we think you will agree that the new rig makes quite a splash!

We will reveal more details of DragonFire's Project X4 here in the weeks leading up to the Destination Polaris air date on Sunday, June 22nd at 11:30 a.m. (and set to re-air on Thursday at 3:30 p.m.). In the meantime, more details about Destination Polaris can be found at the www.destinationpolaris.com website.
