Meet Our Team: DragonFire Racing’s Chief of Research & Development, Seth Bredeson

August 13, 2010
Seth Bredeson, DFR Chief of Research & Development

Seth Bredeson, DFR Chief of Research & Development

According to the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development, the phrase ‘research and development ‘(also known as R&D), refers to “creative work undertaken on a systematic basis in order to increase the stock of knowledge, including knowledge of man, culture and society, and the use of this stock of knowledge to devise new applications.” Basically, that’s a bunch of mumbo-jumbo for saying that without R&D, companies like ours wouldn’t be able to survive.

Luckily, Seth Bredeson works for DragonFire Racing, where he plays an important role in developing the very products and accessories you’ve come to trust and depend on. Part of our team for a little over a year now, Seth has a keen eye for detail and knows exactly what it take to get a product from design to the showroom floor.

DragonFire Racing: What is the best part of your job?

Seth Bredeson: The best part of my job is being able to work with really talented people who work as a tight nit group to get the job done. I also love the creative freedom DragonFire Racing allows me in the design of new products.

DFR: What did you do for work prior to coming to work for DragonFire Racing?

SB: I built Pro Class drag cars and custom hotrods!

DFR: Do you drive a UTV/ATV? If so what do you drive?

SB: No, I have a jeep, so that’s what I do my trailing in.

DFR: What is your Favorite DFR product?

SB: There a few, actually. The LED light bars, the Baja Crippler wheels, and the RZR doors are all just really cool products.

DFR: What are you reading and watching these days?

SB: I am currently watching the Police Academy movies. Usually though I watch The Office, American Dad, and The Pacific.

DFR: If you could take a week off from work and ride ATV/UTV’s anywhere in the world, where would you go and who would you take with you?

SB: I would take the new Can Am Commander loaded with DFR product and go to Norway! I’m mostly Norwegian so I’d like to take a tour of that amazing country. I would bring my family because they all have Norwegian blood. Mmm…. Lutefisk!

Thanks, Seth, for the insight into what makes you tick (stockfish and dried whitefish)… that explains a lot. Eat all you want, buddy; just don’t get too caught up in it and think you can R&D a Lye Fish Long Travel Suspension Kit or a line of Dried Whitefish Billet Accessories!

Seth, Penske Racing Shocks and Custom Axis would be very interested in seeing if we could have a relationship with your company. We build custom high end suspensions and have recently had great success in the UTV market. Please let me know a good time to contact you. Thanks Seth,
