Nick Steinman, Lead Tech at DragonFire Racing

Welcome to the latest edition of ‘Meet The Team.’ What we want to do here is introduce you to Nick Steinman, our lead technician who also gives a lot of assistance to our busy research and development department. What we really like about Nick is that he’s a professional quad racer with knowledge that’s just plain invaluable to what we’re always developing here at DragonFire Racing.

Below is a short Q&A to bring you up to date on Nick:

DragonFire Racing: What’s the best part of your job?

Nick Steinman: Doing what I love to do and having the opportunity to develop new products for off-road.

DFR: What did you do prior to coming to work for DragonFire Racing?

NS: I worked at a rental company doing all of the upkeep on everything from UTVs to boats.

DFR: Do you drive a UTV/ATV? If so what do you drive?

NS: I race a Honda TRX 450 (quad).

DFR: What is your favorite DragonFire product?

NS: That would have to be our new Fire Breather Intake for the XP 900 RZR. I helped to develop this one.

DFR: What are you reading and watching these days?

NS: UTV Off Road & Dirt Sports Magazine and, of course, I watch the AMA Motocross series on TV.

DFR: If you could take a week off from work and ride ATV/UTV’S anywhere in the world, where would you go and who would you take with you?

NS: I would go ride in Moab because I have yet to go there and I’d love to check it out. I would bring my daughter and my girlfriend.
